Packaging – Less is more. We think that packaging mostly just creates unnecessary waste – therefore our ethos is to strip down our products to minimum packaging. Still, we can’t erase packaging completely and therefore work with organic and recyclable materials for our necessary packaging. We use organic cotton certified pouches and FSC® cerfitied cardboard boxes produced in Europe.
FSC® certified is a guaranty that all used materials only stem from FSC® certified forests – where only those trees are cut down that can also be reproduced by the forest and where the flora and fauna are treated responsibly. More about FSC®: www.fsc.org

Hi! I'm Nina
About the founder
I always had a particular fascination with fashion. However, one day this changed completely when I watched the movie “The true cost” revealing for the first time the detrimental impacts of fashion on people and planet. From one day to the next, I stopped buying Fast Fashion completely and have boycotted them ever since.
Still, my love for fashion as an expression of oneself never subsided. I started looking into sustainable fashion brands finding that whilst there is an offer, many brands were not meeting my personal standards: Either their style was not aligned with mine or their sustainability claims were vague and it was hard to tell whether they were legit. There always seems to have been a trade-off between looking good and doing good. Between sustainability and aesthetics.
Meanwhile, during this struggle I discovered Yoga and Surfing – two passions of mine that completely changed who I am and had a big imapact on my life. Two passions that also sparked the idea to come up with my own fashion brand.
With Tulua Verde I try to resolve that trade-off to create a fashion brand that not only looks good but also meets high sustainability and ethic standards. Tulua Verde is more than just a fashion brand. It’s a passion project that should inspire other people to take action. To prove that it is possible to create a world where nature and people can thrive at the same time.
Tulua Verde
About
Tulua is Sanskrit and means becoming more, rising while verde is Spanish for green – symbolic of a more eco-friendly and sustainable world. Together Tulua Verde translates into green rising. It stands for a vision of a greener and more sustainable world that respects and lives in harmony with nature.
In particular, it is the dream of a revolutionized fashion system – a fashion system that creates aesthetically beautiful yet eco-friendly clothing. One that doesn’t exploit, destroy, or pollute but one where nature and people can thrive.
