Return & Exchanges


We put a lot of love into making sure our brands and products are top-notch. We're also mindful of the environment, so we try to give you all the info you need about each product to minimize returns.

But we get it, sometimes things don't match your expectations. So, here's the lowdown on returns.


How to Request a Return

If you want to return or exchange something, hit up our return portal [link], follow the instructions.

Note: Some products might specifically exclude returns due to hygiene reasons, and items from click and collect services may have their own return policies. Make sure to check the details for each product.

Remember, one item, one return request. After you submit, you'll get an email with your return instructions. Usually, it's within a day, but check your spam folder if you don't see it.


Return Timeframe

You've got 14 days from when you get your order to tell us you want to return something. After that, you've got another 14 days to ship it back.


Free Returns

Some brands offer free returns, but not all. Our brands are small businesses, so it depends on each one. Check out the list of brands and their return info on our website.

Note: We can't refund any delivery costs or import taxes you paid to get your item.


What Can be Returned

Any item, regular or on sale, can be returned. Even if you used a discount code. But, custom-made stuff, gift cards, products specifically excluded from returns, and items from click&collect are the exceptions.


Faulty Items

If by some tiny chance your item is faulty, let us know ASAP. Use the return portal, choose "Faulty/Incorrect item," and upload pics of the problem. We'll work with you and the brand to fix it.


Sending Back Returns

Pack your return well, so nothing gets damaged. Use the return label from our portal. If you send it back on your own, drop us an email at katharina@ethicco.ch to avoid delays.


Condition for Returns

Returned items must be in their original condition, unused, unworn, and with all the original stuff. Beauty products should be unopened.


Refunds

We try to refund you as soon as possible after getting the returned item. Legally, it has to be within 14 working days. For international returns, it might take up to 30 days.

Note: Original shipping costs aren't refundable unless the item was faulty.


Exchanges

Most brands allow exchanges. If you want one, use our return portal.


Import Duties

If you paid import duty, you might get it back from your local tax office when you return the goods. We're not responsible for extra customs and taxes.


Damages

We're not responsible for damaged or lost items during delivery. Let us know, and we'll sort things out with the brand.


Cancellation

You can cancel an order before it ships. After that, you pay the return shipping if you cancel. Custom-made stuff can't be canceled.
